So for this week I had to as my friends and family their opinion on my magazine so far. I obviously haven't finished the magazine fully, however I have most of it done so I just wanted to see what they think of it so far.

First, I asked my friend Gaby. After showing her my magazine she said that the cover font for the cover titles needs to be different because it doesn't look like a magazine font. I also thought something was off about the cover so now that she said it, I know that I HAVE to fix it. She also said that the VERSACE logo is slightly different so I will have to look into that. Additionally, I had two picture options for my double page spread and she chose the one where he has a more neutral face rather than a smiling one. Also, I wanted to ask if I should put the models name underneath both pictures and she said yes. She said everything else was really good and she loved the double page spread. 

Next I asked Gavin, he also mentioned that the cover fonts can be changed to something else, however he also liked the way it looked, so he was in between. For the pictures he said the one smiling is better because the one on the front cover is more neutral, so I should have a smiling one. For the name underneath the pictures, he felt that just under one picture would be good since the magazine opens like a two page rather than 1. He really liked the Versace pictures and love the double page spread.

Also, I asked Erika for her opinion on my magazine. She said the same thing about the fonts on the cover, she felt like the cover titles should be a different font than the tittle and that it looked a little off. Next, for the pictures she felt like the smiling one looked like a  better fit for the magazine since the cover was neutral. For the model's name she thought it would work better just for one page rather than both since it would be repetitive and she said that the VERSACE logo needs to be the longer version. She really liked the double page spread and said it looks like its from a real magazine. 

I also asked my AICE Global Perspectives Teacher, Mr. Groothuis. He said the cover background shouldn't be blank but rather a shoe rack or shoe store. However, he liked the font but said that the titles could be bigger. For the four page spread picture, he liked the more neutral picture because he felt like if he was reading the magazine he would like to know more about the second guy than the one smiling. He really liked the double page spread and said it looked really good and well put together. Lastly, for the Versace pictures he said the model's name should be under both pictures rather than just one and he felt like the first one could be a bit bigger so it takes up more space. 

I did these reviews while working on my last blog post, so I already made some of the main changes that I got from the feedback. 

Next, I asked one of my models Mahek. I asked her after I made the main changes to see if she though anything else could be improved. She actually loved the new cover way better and she loved the rest of the magazine.  

Lastly, I showed my cover model, Nadir, the new cover to see his thoughts, and he loved it. He said it looked fire and I am glad that I got his opinion because he is the one on the front cover.
